1. How do I list my item? Get your item in front of eager renters in no time. Sign up, click 'List Your Item', and fill in the specifics—pictures, description, rental price, and when it’s available. Submit it, and once we give it a thumbs up, it'll be live on Letsbay.
2. How and when do I get paid? Once your item is rented out, you’ll receive your payment directly in your bank account as swiftly as possible, typically within a couple of business days. Letsbay ensures a quick transfer so you can enjoy your earnings without delay.
3. What if my item is damaged or not returned? Currently, Letsbay does not offer insurance; however, we advice to set a caution deposit prior to rentals for your protection. If an item isn’t returned, or is returned damaged, you can retain the caution deposit. Additionally, Letsbay will assist by providing rental proof should you need to file a legal complaint.
4. How does Letsbay handle security deposits? Security deposits are held for the duration of the rental. Once the item is returned safely, the deposit is released back to the renter’s account within a couple of business days.
5. How are transaction safety and user verification handled? We prioritize your security with a robust verification process for all Letsbay users and secure payment processing to safeguard against fraud. We encourage reviewing user profiles and ratings before engaging in a transaction.
6. Can I cancel a rental listing? Yes, but we encourage you to do so only when absolutely necessary to maintain the community's trust. Please note, frequent cancellations could impact your reputation on the platform.
